Greece's Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis on Türkiye:
Talking with your neighbor — especially your neighbor with whom you have historical differences — is a necessity.
We cannot at the same time say that Greece seeks peace and stability in the region, and on the other hand close the door.
Those who believe that by closing the dialogue table, by refusing to sit down and discuss, we gain something, are simply, in my opinion, deeply mistaken.
Closing the door to dialogue essentially becomes a legacy of war, not peace.
