Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian: Our communication with regional countries is improving—compared to the past, and certainly compared to the height of the war, as relations were very good before. Pakistan is now cooperating with all its heart. Afghanistan’s cooperation is very good. Turkmenistan is good. Azerbaijan had closed all routes and shut down our bank. We called and spoke with them; after a two-hour conversation, they reopened it. The bank, the embassy, and the routes were all reopened. During the war, they helped us significantly with various routes—whether for Russia’s [supplies] or their own—they accompanied and assisted us with whatever we needed. Iraq is the same.
