Professor of International Law, William Schabas, on the dismissal of ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan and its implications: I think that some states voted to remove him because they were angry with him for issuing the arrest or for requesting and obtaining the arrest warrants. I think that this is a blow to the independence and impartiality of the prosecutor. It's a warning sign to future prosecutors who may feel that they too could, could have a, you know, an unhappy end like Karim Khan. The new prosecutor could decide to devote very few resources or none at all to the prosecution of Prime Minister Netanyahu.
