Israel's Gadi Eisenkot on Iran: Regarding Iran, there is one supreme objective and two other very important objectives. The supreme objective is to remove the approximately 440 kilograms of enriched uranium from Iran. If that is not done, the Iranians can, by their own decision, break out toward a nuclear weapon. What does that mean? It means deciding to enrich uranium from 60% to 90%. That would require only about 250–300 centrifuges operating for roughly three weeks, and they could reach weapons-grade enrichment (90%) and shock the world with a nuclear explosive capability. Therefore, this is the central challenge that Israel must address together with the United States. Unfortunately, despite notable military achievements, there has not been even one millimeter of progress toward this goal.
