Turkish President Erdogan: In traditional warfare, the decisive factors were force concentration and the number of platforms available. Today, we see that technology, information, unmanned systems, rapid decision-making, and support mechanisms have been added to these factors. Wars are no longer fought solely on the battlefield. They are also waged through cyberattacks and disinformation campaigns. Critical infrastructure, power transmission lines, and trade routes are targeted by kamikaze drones. In this new operational environment, where reconnaissance and real-time intelligence have become indispensable force multipliers, planning as well as command and control have become more critical than ever. Today, I would like to state with great pride: The officers trained at our National Defence University demonstrate exceptional performance in both planning and command and control.
