Maximum benefit in the Union's security efforts is only possible by avoiding unnecessary duplications with NATO. While a cooperation model dictated by reason and logic is possible, excluding non-EU member allies will lead to wasting limited resources and creating an artificial division in Europe that we do not desire at all.
