Turkish Foreign Ministry: The Israeli government, which is systematically oppressing the Palestinian people before the eyes of the entire world and is being tried at the International Court of Justice for committing genocide against the people of Gaza, aims to cover up its own crimes through the political decision it has adopted regarding the events of 1915. This ill-intentioned initiative, which disregards legal and historical facts, reveals the predicament in which Netanyahu and his accomplices find themselves, as they are the subjects of arrest warrants issued within the scope of the investigation being conducted by the International Criminal Court in connection with crimes committed against Palestinians. Türkiye will continue to work with determination for an end to Israel's expansionist and destabilizing policies in the region and for the Netanyahu government to be held accountable before the law for the crimes it has committed against civilians, especially the Palestinian people.
