Canada's Foreign Minister Anita Anand on nuclear cooperation with Türkiye: Canada is an energy superpower. Canada's CANDU reactors are used all over the world, in many different places from Argentina to Romania. As the license holder of this technology, we would like to see further cooperation, particularly in nuclear energy. I delivered the letter written by Minister Wilkinson to Minister Bayraktar so that discussions on CANDU can continue. These negotiations are still at the very beginning. The visit to Darlington allowed Minister Fidan and me to observe on-site the work we have been conducting on SMR technology and the nuclear field for some time. Canada is a leading country in these sectors, and we will continue to utilize our strength in this area.
